Surprise

Dieser Rechner hat noch einen EISA-Bus, einen EISA-Adaptec-Controller (79xx oder so) und EISA-Netzwerkkarte. Da diese aber keinen Treiber für Linux hat, haben wir eine 3COM Etherlink 3 reingesteckt.

Weiter ist ein SCSI-CDROM und eine 2 GB-HD (HP) drinnen. Der Rechner ist leider nicht sehr zuverlässig, einmal pro Woche rebootet er von Alleine. Dies ist dem Linux zuzuschreiben, genauer wahrscheinlich dem Adaptec-Treiber. Aber so genau weiss man das nicht, denn unter SCO gab es ja auch hin und wieder Brösel.

Nova und Avon

Beide Server haben ungefähr die gleiche Ausstattung. Falls irgendeine Komponente ausfällt, kann diese vom anderen Server genommen werden (und sofort nachbestellt werden).

Folgende Daten beziehen sich auf Nova als auch Avon:
